They went overboard.
During an interview on Harry Connick Jr.’s talk show set to air Friday, Kurt Russell opened up about his first date with Goldie Hawn — and the wild story involves a break-in, sex and the police.
The “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” star told Connick that he took Hawn dancing at a club for their first date, but after partying they decided it was time to get to know each other a little better.
The pair, who met in 1983 while filming the movie “Swing Shift” and have been an item for 34 years, headed to a house Hawn was renovating.
“We eventually found our way upstairs looking at imaginery furniture,” Russell began. “And we are realistically having sex when the police walked in.”
The 66-year-old actor explained that he and Hawn, 71, had to break into the home and it alerted cops.
Russell said they were doing the deed when all of a sudden a flashlight was shined in their direction.
“It was so bizarre and weird,” he said. “We were told to get a hotel room which we did. That was our first date. It was a lot of fun.”
Apparently, it was a great first date for both Hollywood stars. Russell and Hawn have been together ever since despite never marrying.
