Snowstorm delays starry Whitney Biennial preview

The Whitney Museum postponed a Tuesday VIP preview of its Whitney Biennial — the first at its downtown digs — because of the snowstorm.

The anticipated opening’s been moved to Wednesday, organizers said.

Guests expected to peruse the art Tuesday included Reese Witherspoon, Julianne Moore, Zoë Kravitz, Zosia Mamet, St. Vincent rocker Annie Clark, Reed Krakoff and Tavi Gevinson.

The museum tapped two curators in their early 30s, Mia Locks and Christopher Lew, for the show of 63 artists. Tiffany & Co. collaborated with five to create works at its Fifth Avenue store: One by Ajay Kurian is an edgy homage to “American Psycho.”

Social fixtures like Alessandra Balazs, Lily Kwong, Indré Rockefeller and Claire Distenfeld are also expected at the museum preview.
